Checklist – Questions to Ask Yourself About the Space or Project

These questions were designed to help you begin to think about what you would like the newly created space or project to look like and what additional benefits you need. There are many additional considerations when it comes to the actual planning, but for now, these are just some general concepts to consider.

  • What do you like most about the current Space? ____________

  • Do you prefer wood __, laminate __, metal ___ cabinetry?
  • If wood cabinetry, do you prefer light __ or dark __ wood?
  • If wood cabinetry, do you prefer painted __ or faux __ finish?
  • What kind of activities do you envision for this Space?
  • If the cabinetry is to have countertops, what would you prefer – granite __, laminate __, concrete __, glass __, tile __, corian or similar __, stone ___ or other ___
